How is 2023 treating you? Or really, how are you treating it?
AI content generation has become quite the hot topic lately, and it really just reared its (adjective of your choice here) head in December
of 2022.
Seth Godin had what I thought was a thought-provoking take on it recently:

As you know, I’m obviously embracing it as a means to generate content.
I doubt if I’ll resort to writing books with it, but what it is is a tool.
I can’t use a hammer and saw nearly as well as a skilled carpenter, so when I need something built I’ll hire a professional.
Same should be the usage of AI image or content generation tools. There’s a skill in using them that needs to be learned and experimented with, and those who have those skills now have tools at their disposal that are valuable.
And it’s becoming increasingly obvious that simply asking a tool like ChatGPT or Blackbear AI a question like you would ask Google won’t produce great results.
Again, I’ll make a comparison…
We all have at our disposal 26 letters of the alphabet, and tools like Microsoft Word.
We all don’t create works like William Shakespeare did, or Stephen King does, do we?
Could ChatGPT create a book worthy of Stephen King? It could, I suppose with enough nudging from someone very, very skilled in writing prompts and fine tuning them patiently.
I encourage you to learn the skills and embrace the tools before you’re too far behind your competition.
